VIDEO: ¡Extraño! Captan a un hongo que parece un corte de carne

Ha sorprendido en redes sociales el video donde se corta lo que parece un trozo de carne, sin embargo, se trata de un hongo.

El hongo se llama fistulina hepática y es un hongo que se puede comer, incluso llega a tener apariencia a un corte de carne.

Se puede encontrar comúnmente en América del Norte, Australia, África del Norte, África del Sur y Europa, creciendo en varias especies de roble y castaño.

A medida que se corta, sale un jugo de color marrón rojizo que se oxida rápidamente, volviéndolo de un color marrón más oscuro.

Esto se debe a una reacción química de los ácidos o pigmentos naturales del hongo.

El hongo fistulina hepática ha sido objeto de interés en varios estudios debido a que es un potente antioxidante y que puede ralentizar el crecimiento de ciertos tipos de células de cáncer de mama.

It can be commonly found in North America, Australia, North Africa, Southern Africa, and Europe, growing on various species of oak and sweet chestnut. As it’s sliced it oozes a reddish-brown juice that quickly oxidizes, turning it a deeper brown color. This is due to a chemical reaction of the mushroom’s naturally occurring acids or pigment. The humble beefsteak mushroom has also been the subject of interest in several studies due to it being a potent antioxidant and evidence it may slow down the growth of certain types of breast cancer cells.
